Biography

Rubing received his M.Eng and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, under the supervision of Prof. Yansheng Lu. After that, Rubing spent one year at the Monash University as an academic visitor advised by Dr. Xin Xia and Dr. Robert G. Merkel, and also spent three months at Swinburne University of Technology as an academic visitor advised by Prof. T. Y. Chen. Currently, he is an associate professor at the Department of Software Engineering, School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering, Jiangsu University, China.

He has more than 40 publications in journals and proceedings, including in IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Reliability, Journal of Systems and Software, Information and Software Technology, IET Software, International Journal of Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering, ICSE, COMPSAC, SEKE, and SAC. He has served as the program committee member of ICST2020 (poster track), SEKE2014-2019, SAC2017-2020, CTA2017-2019, and AI Testing 2019, and has served as the reviewer for many journals such as IEEE-TC, IEEE-TR, JSS, IST, SPE, IET Software, IJSEKE, NCA, etc. He is a senior member of the China Computer Federation, and a member of the IEEE and the ACM. Research Interests

1) Software Testing (such as Random Testing, Adaptive Random Testing, Combinatorial Testing, and Artificial Intelligence based Software Testing); 2) Software Maintenance (such as Regression Testing); and 3) Software Security Analysis, Debugging, Fault Localization, and Program Repair.
